Thanks for the good info brian. Im going to check that pump by going under the coushin.

This mechanic was kind of sketchy but that was when it was time to pay and once I had the car their. I just really really believe he put an old pump in there. I just feel it. I'm going to find my reciept and then call him leave him a message tonight and see if he will honor it or not.

I'm assuming from your post brian that if this mechanic doesn't honor getting a new pump, that mercedes wont give me a new pump
( assuming its a mercedes pump)

I just will be so mad if 1) he put in a old pump and charged me for a new one. or 2) I have to end up paying for another pump and labor.
