Well I checked the pump, it was pretty easy to check it. But I didn't wnat to mess with it cuz of all the stuff ontop of it or around it. I saw one of the vaccum ports i guess you would call it was broken off. Dont think that would cause the shorting problem. But I didn't want to mess with it.
Oh and I found my reciept it says I had this pump changed on 5/17/07 so about 10 months ago. Hopefully theres a warranty.
