i was mounting the four speed shifter and I noticed the plug on the switch on the shifter is identical to the plug that the auto trans wires from the neutral safetfy/reverse switch on the trans. this is where the auto trans plugs into the main harness on the upper drivers side of the hump inside the car. so I plugged the manual switch in there and it starts right up and the reverse light works. is there something I am missing here? I noticed most of the swaps had DYI harnesses but this seems like the factory intent.
