I have a 96 SL500 and as you might expect, when I first got the car I did not realize how low the front valance under the bumper was so when I was pulling in to a parking spot, I cracked the fiberglass under the right driving light in two places.

Question:

Has anyone done this and taken it to a fiberglass repair shop and had it repaired and repainted? I beleive that cost for the entire new valance is around $1,000.00 dollars without labor or paint.

Any recommendations?
