I have a whistling noise that I believe is air being pulled into the air flow sensor whenever I accelerate hard. If I let the car idle and spray a little carberator cleaner at the base, the engine rpm picks up. I have ordered a gasket for the air flow sensor but wanted to know if anyone has run into anything like this before. A new air flow sensor is really expensive.
