To tell someone not to get married is just crazy. Some people have morals and family values. Some people believe in the sanctity of marriage and want to provide a living example to their children. some people don't want their children shacking up with someone & having bastard children running around without any values at all. Some people actually want someone they can rely on and share their life with.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with marriage. Marriage is a beautiful thing. The problem is people are getting married who have no business getting married. People don't work on nourishing and keeping their relationship first. You have to hold your mate above all else and focus your attention on him/her alone. Yes you can have friends but no same sex friends, especially if their not married. Your mate should be your best friend, someone you can't live without. You find that and life will be great.

In my opinion the single most important reason for the breakdown in our society is the lack of values and morals that are NOT being handed down by parents. And not being lived by the parents themselves.
I guess that's what happens when money is your God. When you worship idols (money) you will never have a really fulfilling life.

Well said. It is completely true, society has experienced a breakdown of moral and social values, leading to people without (seemingly) consciences running around doing whatever they please. Most of these things are merely attempts at physical pleasure....no real emotion, connection, trust, relationship....I feel sorry for those people. They really do just see money and "things" as the most important parts of their lives. It truly is a wonderful feeling when you find the person you want to spend every day with for the rest of your life. I was lucky and found that person over two years ago, and I will be married to her in less than 4 months. (Aug 1st.)
