I have a 1995 S500 (US Version). I was told by a friend that mercedes benz actually came out with a "xenon retrofit kit" which was made specifically for the W140 body and comes complete with everything, even the wiring harness. It is considered an "accessory" and not a "part" so the number I have is B6 680 9914

I tried calling my benz dealer in the USA but I was told that it was not a valid number. I am sure that it is available in Germany or many other countries in europe.

Has anybody with a W140 body tried this particular xenon kit? Also, would it fit a US version car? I also want to know if there is any dealer in Europe who would sell Benz parts at below retail as some of the dealers in the USA do.
