Bill, Phil Here. The Material that I used for my Windscreen has a slightly larger mesh. By using SEM Paint, It did not clog any texture in the mesh.
The SEM paint has a very fine nozzle and is a great product. If using a paint to redo the original mesh I would advise a light "Fog" coat in a sweeping motion. My Sceen has no "Streaks" and has a very nice "Patina" look to It.

A Special Note: I got the Sweet 500SL out on I-95, We were doing 85 Mph for 15 Min. The Windscreen held and worked as It should.
