How do you remove the steering lock???
It is my understanding that the ignition switch needs to be operational in order to remove the tumbler mechanism.....and thus unlock the steering column......
.....can the ignition switch and steering locking mechanism be removed without the switch being operational???
from what I have read here in the forum.....it seems best to do all possible to actuate the key.....and the only other recourse is to drill out the tumblers!!!
