My process server was former DEA and a pure bred BM in the type of program you are talking about is a $10K + dog. I have a friend that met his at the plane, is still on Belgian commands and if you lift your hands above your waist in his presence, will chew your face off. I would NOT get a BM for civilian duty if you aren't going to go to Belgium and have it trained to your needs. And you know what kind of dogs I have....
