French press + thermos carafe = great coffee nearly all day. Those Bunn-O-Matics are great for high volume dispensing, otherwise they're just continuing to cook the coffee after brewing.

As for boiling the water . . . a good electric kettle is good to have in the kitchen for more than just making coffee. Besides, the best temp for brewing is "off the boil" not boiling.
