It's been a couple of years, but my recollection is that the '17 is physically different size than the '15. It won't just bolt in place. Both were used on the OM60x engine line. It may be possible to swap over mounting brackets, but it's also a possibility that the blocks are machined differently, depending on which compressor was to be used. Not sure, haven't thoroughly researched it. In my opinion it's likely to be a nontrivial swap.
