Hi all new 560sl owner picking it up on Sunday...i was unable to find an answer to my issue searching the forums. So i am posting a new one; my apologies if this has been already addressed.

The seller called me the other day to let me know there is an issue with the a/c. He took it to his mechanic and was unable to determine a fix.

Below is his description of the issue:

The A.C. compressor isn't turning on. If it's grounded, it turns on and produces ice cold air. It's not getting grounded may be due to a faulty switch or relay. The system is fully charged, holds freon and gets cold once the compressor turns on.

Anyone have any ideas?
