A PS for the original poster.
The reason I mentioned the Code Tool is b/c a bad harness is usually coupled with several codes form the Pin 8 and Pin 14 modules on an E320.
[ HFM/Module ans EA/CC ISC modules]. It is kinda hard to start slitting open a harness before you own the car..
,.... so this simple code test tool would give one some insight into what the computer memories have been monitoring and those modules are not the CE lamp Emmissions one ,but rather, the Engine Management ones..along w/ASR/CC/ABS, etc...
So, a nice tool box addition, if nothing else...
