I have. Unfortunately, R12 is illegal here, in car A/C anyway.
Never mind that my house A/C and fridge don't have the latest 'green' stuff in them. On the plus side (?), we're lucky to get 2 months of A/C weather a year here, and the system I'm converting is in my 560SL. It hasn't been used in many, many years by the previous owners, at least several of whom were from Florida. I'm really getting it going because, well, who ever heard of a Mercedes without air?
