Are there bigger stories on the newswire ? gas price news stories themselves seem to be all over the place

Why hasn't someone other than the normal oil pundits (whomever they are) mentioned ANWAR again ?

Or is it not a viable alternative ? (too long a lead time, wouldnt help prices enough, the green lobby got that place locked down forever...)

(I realize that what we/I am asking is: "why don't news outlets cover what I think they should be" ...and thats probably the beginning of the answer =)
