Without really knowing what is there, it would be hard to say. "Experts" have said the well was dry before and later it was producing. They are a guess, at best.
If it is an oil reserve, you are going to have to drill it sooner or later otherwise, it is meaningless. What are you keeping it for? For a more dire time than now?
