This is on the w126 1981 300sd. I decided to fill both cars up. Filled up the 300sd about halfway, then went to the c280 and started filling it up when I start hearing water dripping onto the floor of the garage.

I go back to the 300sd and start looking at the washer fluid reservoir and in the back there is something with an electrical connection to it near the middle and on the left side of the reservoir, there is a hole where is looks like a similar connector should go, but it ain't there.

What are the connectors? Do they measure the fluid or heat the washer fluid? If there are supposed to be two, I have no idea what happened to the other one...any clues?

Anyway, like I said the connector on the left is missing and there is a hole where it once was and the fluid is coming out from there. I suppose I could just plug it?
