Profit is the prime motivator of all cultures and societies that have evolved past the barter system.

To me, profit is neither good nor bad. It's a part of all transactions.

Even Jesus was okay with that.

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16:26
