How high? Higher than body temps? What amounts does it produce? IOW, what temp must I heat a can of soda to produce lethal amounts? Now if you were swimming in barrels of the stuff all day long, you have an point. You are breathing in poisons on a daily basis. Scratch that, minute basis. Without knowing the amount that we are talking about, it is impossible to say what is happening. Could it be broken down to other items? What is the effect? These things leave more questions than answers. When they have passed the "debate" point to the "fact" point, I'll believe it. Till then, I'll stick with shaving my palms and learning braille because it is said that I will go blind and/or have hairy palms from jerkin the gerkin.
So use sugar if you are that worried.
