Got all my bushings and washers and bolts today and re-mounted the compressor...fired her up and had to add one can of R12 to top up and she cools great. It was over 80 today here and it was blowing nice and cold on my test drive.

I lucked out having a nearly 100% working A/C system already in the car...just needed a belt and some very overypriced bushings and washers to get it working again.

I didn't check the oil level in the compressor since it was already nearly a full charge in there. You need to drain the refrigerant in order to check it and I saw no reason to do so when the system was already nearly full of charge.
