So far I've tested that theory and the clutvh did not engage just the high speed electric fans. I just want to figure out if I need to replace the red sensor or if the electro clutch is also bad. How can I test this out before just replacing everything ?
When my electromagnetic clutch was not working, it was the sensor. I shorted out the connector with the ignition on, and I could hear it engage. With the engine running I shorted it again and the clutch operated and the fan turned. I replaced the sensor and all is well.
