Hooper, I dunno brother. I used to repo cars and if a transponder key wasn't programmed correctly, the car starts and dies within a few moments.
One time I "stole" a car back and drove it for blocks about 15 feet at a time!! It was in the hood, too
Look into fuel pressure as MBDOC suggests...
