You know, I had a hard time believing this story was true. When I read about "roping a deer", the first thing I'm thinking is "that thing will tear your @$$ up!" If you did manage to get close enough, a deer could eviscerate you with it's sharp front hooves...
Like it says, they lash out with their front feet, that's true...
