My dad always had Harleys, so I grew up loving the sound of straight pipes. The more the merrier (rolling thunder)

. Mufflers create too much visual clutter on a Harley.
I also have a JL PowerWedge with 2-12" subs in the trunk of our Acura.

I am very aware of the irritation I can cause, so I only do intense listening on the highways, never in areas with homes.
My main issue is noise from aircraft that started flying over my house within the last 3 years. There's a Naval base a few miles away and they changed their flight patterns. I get alot of jets and choppers which look very cool and my son loves it, but you can't hear anything else when they fly by.
The road in front of my house was also widened 2 years ago to handle the extra traffic from all the new home construction in the area. Traffic noise can be annoying.
