You've got to keep up those high doses continuously even if the wrist is not hurting. It reduces the inflammation and allows the tendons to heal. I've had success with steroid injections but also with continuous high doses of Ibuprofen for about 10-15 days. No need to buy the horse sized pills, just buy the large bottles of the 200mg's at the drugstore
