Is there a big difference in taste between bourbon and whiskey? My grandparents are here visiting for a while. My granddad wanted bourbon so we went to the store and got him Jim Beam, he loved it. My granddad asked my mom to buy some more Jim Beam bourbon, so my mom rushed into the store and made a purchase. Only thing is when she got it home I looked at the bottle and it says Jack Daniels not Jim Beam and there's no mention of bourbon anywhere on the bottle. To my mom the Jim Beam bottle and the Jack Daniels bottle looked the same so she didnt even read the label. She thought it was strange that the price was a few dollars higher but just let it go. Is it likely my granddad will notice the difference?
