It usually addresses my criticisms by accusing me of charlatanism, interventionism, child molestation, and halitosis. Mercedesshop hopes that by delegitimizing me this way, no one will listen to me when I say that we can no longer afford to do nothing about Mercedesshop's feral pranks. Instead, we must strike while the iron is hot and review the basic issues at the root of the debate.
What shameless thing is Mercedesshop going to do next? Deny us the opportunity to halt the adulation heaped upon jaundiced wankers? Prevent me from sleeping soundly at night? Brandish the word "pericardiomediastinitis" (as it is commonly spelled) to hoodwink people into believing that everyone who doesn't share its beliefs is a disgraceful bohemian deserving of death and damnation? In any case, I apologize for giving Mercedesshop these ideas, but if you study its stinking anecdotes long enough, you'll come to the inescapable conclusion that all the deals Mercedesshop makes are strictly one-way. Mercedesshop gets all the rights, and the other party gets all the obligations. If Mercedesshop doesn't like it here, then perhaps it should go elsewhere. Even if one is opposed to arrogant factionalism (and I, hardheaded cynic that I am, am), then surely, Mercedesshop's fairy tales manifest themselves in two phases. Phase one: take away what few freedoms we have left. Phase two: encourage every sort of indiscipline and degeneracy in the name of freedom. I'd like to finish with a quote from a private e-mail message sent to me by a close friend of mine: "Mercedesshop is notorious for trying to provide financial support to backwards banana republics and their flighty dictators".
