To be correct, bourbon is a kind of whiskey, made primarily from corn. The name came from Bourbon County, Kentucky, where bourbon was first made.

I used to be a Jack Daniel's drinker until I discovered Maker's Mark.

It is the smoothest drinking bourbon I have ever had the pleasure of imbibing.
