I owned a 1989 E30 318i with a 5 speed and it was quite nippy around town. It also was very chuckable and fun to drive. Overtaking on the highway was a bit lame compared to what i'm driving right now. But then again, most of the cars that I drive now are V8's and this this where they come into their own.
