We have an '88 450SL that has about 20,000 miles on the odometer since we purchased the car new.

It has been well cared for and never driven in the winter.

We are considering selling it and have no idea how to arrive at a realistic price.

Is there a web site or other resource available that can provide some insight?

Also, having been to ebay auto site, are there other internet based selling sites that better target the potential buyers.

This site seems like a good start.

It seems logical to us, as non-collectors, that this car is probably most valuable to some one looking for a pristine car in original condition.

As you can tell from this, we are novices when it comes to what we think is a quality car.
