Are you referring to my car? I thought I kept it pretty tidy. The only place where its not as discreet as I'd like is where the valves mount to the intake manifold:

However, I needed 3 valves mounted very closely to one another, and I needed good quality valves. Function over aesthetics. Either way, I'm really not too concerned with how things look under the hood, as long as it doesn't look like a farmer made it, and I don't block access to anything important. Plus, it's not as if the e300d's fuel plumbing is a model of grace or simplicity.

Inside the car, the only difference is the control panel, and it has the flip-down cover:
