What could they possibly offer that might induce (seduce) a gamer from PC to Mac?

Good question Bot. Although PCs do dominate the home computer gaming industry, I think consoles are spelling the death of home PC gaming, or at least driving it back into a very niche market.
PCs are highly customizable. I tinker with mine every few months, making upgrades here and there. This is both a benefit and a drawback. Benefit is that you can completely tailor the machine to your needs. You can add components easily when needed, and can keep up with the latest video processing technology. Drawback is that it can be complicated to get everything working correctly, and if you jump onto a new technology too soon, you usually become a guinea pig for software drivers and developpers alike.
So...I'm not sure if Macs will ever really get into gaming. Consoles are just too good at it. They offer stability and a wide array of games. Even consoles aren't immune to glitches though. A home PC gamer with a big budget can build a pretty impressive gaming platform - one that will outperform a console.
It'll be interesting to see where it leads though!
