My passenger front seat will neither raise or lower.The seat appears to be bottomed out. I can hear the motor engaging but nothing is happening. All other seat functions work. I loosened the seat and notice that the cable for the elevation jumps around when the lever is pressed but the seat does not lift. Is it possible that the cable is worn out? How difficult is this to replace? It turns freely at the motor. I tried to screw it in but the other end prevents me from tightening it. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I searched the history file but found nothing pertinent. Thanks.
