Peter you're full of it, thinkin this '74 240D will cost more to insure than say an '86 300SD.
Valdosta dude, good luck with the sale - it looks to be excellent vehicle and 115/114 cars are hot ticket right now among vintage car fans. Having service records means alot, specially at proving mileage on 5 digit odometer. My only beef with the car is lack of sunroof otherwise I'd bid on it myself.

Full of it? Ha ha, I write the check to the insurance company, and I know what it costs to insure my current 560SEL and my former 240D, 300CD, 300SD, and 300D.
