Thanks for bringing my bad manners to my attention. This is my first thread, and I appear to have not followed protocol. My appologies. My signature now includes my current vehicles, and I'll expand a little on my question about air filters.

I have installed a "drop-in" K & N air filter in the stock air-cleaner of my MB 190E. Not because I'm trying to make this a road racer, but because it offers superior filtering, less restrictive air flow, and is guaranteed to last for 10 years or a million miles.
Seems like a perfect match for my Benz.

Does anyone else have any experience with these. (Especially experience in cold climates.)
