2002 CL 500 - can't open or close windows & sunroof anymore using the IR key.

Car has had a lot replaced lately... rear SAM, battery, instrument cluster, electronic gear selector... and I'm not quite certain when this convenience feature was lost.

What's needed to restore this feature?
