Alldata has "Safety Recalls" for wiring harness problems on the E-class cars. As I've looked at several nobody can tell me if theirs has been fixed or not. If I purchase a used one, is a "safety recall" something that the dealer has to fix or do I have to pay for it?

The date of the "safety recall" is Feb '95 and Mar '95. What about cars built at or after that time, will they still need to be fixed? Would these problems have been fixed without the owners knowledge, say during a routine service?
