Some primary filters don't work with biodiesel
I run B100. The primary filters that have a plastic screen inside work great. Once I got a filter with paper inside and it collapsed and cut off my fuel supply when running B100. When I go to the parts store I refuse to take those.
I replace both filters every 12,000 miles.
By the way, I keep a set of filters in the trunk at all times, just in case.
