For Northern and Central California residents, here's what I saw at the Windsor Pick and Pull today:

Several '80s S-class cars -- mostly 300SD and one 300SE. Years ranged from 1981 to 1986. Lots of good 617 engine parts. Grilles, lights, trim, etc. Mostly tan interiors, rather picked over.

A 1985 300D-T (W123) California car, complete with trap catalyst, just like mine. Blue on blue. Driver's seat bottom torn, others look OK. Cluster and CCU gone. Push-switch behind the cluster, it might have had a factory alarm option, I've never seen one in a W123. One crack in the dash. All four upper climate control air outlets looked to be OK. Right headlight ass'y gone, left one complete with door in good condition including original yellow fog light. Someone has been trying to take the turbo off but has not yet succeeded. Air cleaner gone. IP still there and looked complete. I got the rear door window switches and now have a complete set of good switch caps for my '85.

1991 300E (W124). The engine and all front trim were gone -- I didn't even recognize the car at first. The dark brown dash was uncracked but damaged where someone had removed the cluster the hard way. I got the cluster case with its improved illumination for my '87. Rear of the car OK. Tan interior, somewhat stripped.

Many older cars that were there at the time of the Spring Diesel Drive are now gone.
