Thankyou Tom
Thanks for the encouraging remarks. Well, I do have a jug of Mobil 1 oil and a new filter. I was going to change it in Michigan, but the PO said he had just changed oil and filter before it went in storage, and it looked it also. Then it has the engine cover below and I wasn't familiar with it, and Reta had just had a pacemaker installed the day before and I just wanted to get home. We did spend a few minutes at the little farm where my Mom was born a 100 plus years ago, now inside of the City of Holland. Beautiful little 10 acre farm where they raise 6 kids, grew berries and Grandpa designed furniture. And I am thinking it will all soon be gone and turned into more condos. Anyway, on top of the can of STP, I also have added a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil. I am going to run it a couple of times this week, and dump it all on Saturday and put in Mobil 1 and hope for the best. Old Blue is running so good. I haven't made up my mind what I am going to do with her. I have gotten four super years of service out of it, for very little expense. Upper control arms, brakes, starter, battery, recharge AC, regulator and ignition switch and one half shaft and tires. So, I don't want too many cars, but I think I will keep it and use it as my bad weather car for as long as I drive school bus, and keep my new beauty out of the weather, salt and stuff.
