Compare the codes in Menu#9 with what you posted in #86.

I believe you'll find that the codes read in the Palm Scanner will be what you call "sub-codes". Certainly not in the same order but good enough to help you diagnose.

BTW, somebody sent me a email recently and he purchased a used HHT for about $1500. If you look around, you may find one but personally, that's too pricey for me.
