83 300 turbodiesel, during a brake job at a shop, something went wrong
strange, I can't stop the engine from running.
0. turn off the ignition
1. took the battry terminals out
2. took the glow plug connector out

finally, took a pair of vise grip and pinch the fuel line, and starve it, then it died.

never had this experience before, any idea?
