To "refine the system":
1) remove the air filter housing
2) remove the top of the oil separator
3) clean with brake cleaner
4) reinstall the oil separator top and seal around the top edge with a bead of RTV
5) after the RTV has cured, reinstall the air filter housing
6) enjoy the results
