I ran across a kit recently for painting your brake calipers without taking them off the car. It includes some type of cleaner/prep stuff to get rid of old dirt and rust, I believe. If I can find it again, I'll post it here. I'll most likely try it if I succeed in buying a set of new wheels this weekend.
