That's just not true. Things were not stalled. There is a lot that is unclear about the Iraq situation. One thing is clear - in the end, it was George Bush who expelled the inspectors.

That's almost right. Hussein is the one who pushed things to the edge. For whatever reason, the rest of the world didn't push back until it was too late to stop Bush's invasion.
