I like to use my water blade to clean the inside of my glass. I take a rag and soke it in washer fluid then I srub the window and dry it w/ the water blade, any drops left over are picked up w/ a dry towel.
Sorry I dont know what to do about your back, Oh yea the film is as gas like substance given off by the vynal in your car, there is no way to stop that.
