But if you basially stripped the rear of the car down, removing every extra bit of weight, I.E Seats, interior upolstery, etc etc, so it was as ligth as can be, the car would be very light in the rear...
so I would say to an extent,a wing can help, but some of those wings, or rather most of them, follow form instead of function.
Rather than function dictaing the form...
Or rather most riced out cars have no use for a wing, but the real ones, probably do need it.
But like I said, I have no basis other than what a friend who has one told me.
