different suspension, yes, as in lowered and stiffer. They still have the fenders rolled to prevent rubbing.

the other alternative is a shorter (50 profile) front tire, but in my opinion is much too small for stock suspension. Some cars even had 225's put up front, but that would require even more extensive fender rolling, and maybe even some flaring. I wouldn't recommend it.
