Thanks for the advice Tom. I'd like to think I can do most of the repairs myself. I hesitate to tackle the brake job (1) because if you screw up it could cost you your life and (2) I've never had to blead brakes and it doesn't sound that easy. Taking the brake parts off and putting new ones on sounds easy enough, but that's only part of the job.

I'll check the belt on the alt.
